OUR BOX

Barbell: One of the most versatile pieces of equipment in the gym! It’s used for lots of CrossFit movements, such as squats, deadlifts, shoulder press and much more. It’s also used for training and performing the Olympic lifts; the Clean and Jerk and Snatch.
Kettlebell: used to perform movements that train cardio endurance, strength and flexibility.
Rings: Essential for gymnastic training and used for pullup progressions, dips, muscles and lots of other bodyweight movements.
Jump Rope: used for single, double and triple unders.
Box: used for jumping on and a variety of other movements.
Medicine Ball: Usually 14 or 20 pounds and used for workouts that include throwing and catching the ball at a target.
Dumbbell: used for strength training and come in a variety of weights from 2-200 pounds.
Foam Roller: used to increase mobility, improve flexibility, and get relief from pain caused by sore & tired muscles.
Bumper Plates: used with a barbell most of the time. Bumper plates allow us to drop the weights without damaging the weights or floor.
Tires: used for flipping and jumping on.

BARBELL CLUB

Ages: All

Barbell Club is for all ages and skill levels that want to learn about Olympic Weightlifting. The class is devoted to developing the technique and strength for Snatch and Clean and Jerk.

TOP BOX

Ages: 13-17

Top Box is our teens fitness class. While some of the movements look the same, the class is focused on making fitness fun and safe for everyone. Fitness should last a lifetime and this class gives teens a great way to learn and enjoy fitness.

CROSS-FIT

Ages: 18+

Cross Training is for anyone 18 or older that is looking to get fit, have fun, and enjoy the great community at SPU.

RATES

Our rates differ from other gyms, you contribution goes toward keeping the Top Box program free for kids, equipment, and gym maintenance.

Our coaches are devoted to providing a safe learning environment where people of all skill levels are given the opportunity to get fit. Each coach is equipped to teach proper technique, bring excitement to the class, and grow the community.
